Support Workers will be paid between £8.21 per hour up to £8.55 per hour from 1st April 2019.Llanbrynmair Support Worker
You will support four ladies who have shared their own home for some time, 3 people, male and female, who live together close by and 2 middle aged gentlemen living in a rural location and 5 people with a range of varying complex needs in a large bungalow. In this role, you will support individuals with multiple complex physical, learning and associated behavioural needs to develop skills in aspects of daily living such as cooking, cleaning and shopping.
You will support people to use their wheelchairs and access recreational activity and so you will need a degree of basic fitness and enjoy sport and recreation activity. You will also help people to engage in work, social and leisure activities in the community, which might include swimming, social events or voluntary and daytime opportunities.
Your manager will work alongside you to help develop your practice, gain an understanding of each individual you work with, and create positive person centred solutions which enable individuals to live fulfilled day to day lives.Next Steps
